About Just Ask
My brother has panic attacks. How can I get some information to help me understand what is happening?"
"I think my son has ADHD. How can I find out what that is and where can I go for help?"
"Where can I get some tips to help me beat the blues?"
What is Lifeline's Just Ask?
Just ask is Lifeline's rural mental health information service. It's an Australia-wide service provided by Lifeline South Coast.
We provide information and referral for people with mental health problems, and to friends, relatives and others who want to know how to help. We tell callers about relevant local services, as well as books and web sites. We also provide our own self-help information sheets on a range of areas. See "How we can help".
Lifeline's Just ask is not a counselling service.
Call Lifeline's telephone counselling service on 13 11 14 for 24 hour telephone counselling.
What hours does Lifeline's Just Ask operate?
Lifeline's Just Ask 1300 13 11 14 is currently staffed 9 am to 5 pm (AEST), Monday to Friday. After hours a voice mail system operates, callers can leave a message which will be attended to the next working day. Or send an email to justask@lifeline.org.au
